Decades ago when Cabo was just starting to get world attention, a young Irish woman arrived to live permanently. Tracy was and still is, a surfer who came to town for the beach life and just to cook.
Her talent was and is enormous. A true pioneer and entrepreneur.
She soon started a catering business and selling packaged salad mix and other specialty food items to the only grocery store in town that had the kind of items tourists wanted.
Tracy’s reputation and business started to grow steadily.
Today, she is the leading star of all catering business in the area with her successful company and team: Lazy Gourmet, Catering & Events.
Tracy and her wonderful staff prepare spectacular dishes for small or huge events and her clients are never disappointed and all rave about her service: her amazing attention to details, the beautiful decor, outstanding presentation and delicious healthy food. She is always present “directing the orchestra” of all the people involved. Her staff is always grateful for all they learn at her side.
She is a fair and kind leader and has an enormous heart. My own experience is the fantastique & unique service she provides for our fundraiser the Building Baja’s Future Casino Night, an extraordinary event that she supports to get the community involved to help students go to college.
Her fresh smile, genuine and unique laughs, great sense of humor, gentle manners, keen eye for perfection, true friendship, unfailing commitment makes her very special and appreciated.
Los Cabos is fortunate to have Tracy Dunlop, now Mexican by choice, amongst its most successful business women and the best caterer.
